Introduction

This Cookie Policy forms part of the legal framework governing your use of the CortexProp Platform operated by CortexProp LLC. It explains what cookies and similar technologies we deploy, why we use them, how long they remain on your device, and how you can control or delete them.

What are cookies and similar technologies

2.1 Cookies

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) by the website you visit. Cookies allow the website to recognise your device, remember your preferences, keep you logged in and provide personalised content and analytics.

By origin:

▪First-party cookies — set by CortexProp LLC directly when you visit our Platform.
▪Third-party cookies — set by trusted partners we integrate with (e.g. Google, Meta, Stripe), each governed by its own privacy and cookie policies.

By duration:

▪Session cookies — exist only for the duration of your browsing session and are deleted when you close your browser.
▪Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a defined period until they expire or you delete them.

2.2 Similar technologies

In addition to cookies, we may use:

▪Web beacons / pixel tags — tiny invisible images that detect when content has been viewed.
▪Local storage / session storage — browser storage used for example to remember your trading-platform layout.
▪Server-side tracking — events captured server-side for first-party analytics where possible.
▪Mobile SDKs — analytics, crash reporting and attribution in our mobile applications.
▪Browser fingerprinting — used only for security and fraud prevention; not used for advertising.
▪Token / cache files — used to keep you logged in and to speed up loading.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals

7.1 Do Not Track (DNT)

We do not currently respond to DNT signals because there is no industry-wide standard. We honour the preferences you set in our cookie preferences centre instead.

7.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honour the GPC signal where technically feasible and legally required (in particular under CCPA/CPRA). When we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
